GOOD THAT BIRTHS GOLD
Welcome to 28/07 and the GOOD THAT BIRTHS GOLD is in Acts of the Apostles 28/07-
"In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously."
After escaping from the shipwreck, Paul and his co-travellers found themselves on the island of Melita - "And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita." vs 1
The chief man of the island, named Publius, received, lodged them and treated them courteously.
After three days of treating them well, the father of Publius became sick with terrible and bloody fever and God used Paul to heal him - "And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him." vs 8
Through this divine healing, many more on the island received their diverse healing - "So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed" vs 9
What birthed these numerous miraculous healings was the initial lavish hospitality that Chief Publius gave to Paul and his stranded co-travellers!
