DESTINY HELPER NEVER TO LACK
Welcome to 19/07 and the DESTINY HELPER NEVER TO LACK is in 1 Samuel 19/07-
"And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan shewed him all those things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as in times past."
King Saul was hell bent on killing David - "And Saul spake to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David." vs 1
But Jonathan the first born of king Saul and crown prince of Israel was highly favorably disposed to David and leaked the intention and instruction of his father to kill him - "But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself" vs 2
Jonathan went further to convince his father not to kill David by giving good report about him till his father changed his mind - "And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee-ward very good: .... And Saul hearkened unto the voice of Jonathan: and Saul sware, As the LORD liveth, he shall not be slain." vs 4-6
Jonathan reconciled David with his father and David was restored to his royal duties.
Jonathan was the destiny helper that David needed to avoid dying prematurely and being prevented from his glorious destiny.
Jonathan was the destiny helper that David needed to speak good of him before his father and change his mind too.Jonathan was the destiny helper whom David did not lack to fulfil his glorious destiny.
- God will surround you with destiny helpers who will defend and speak excellently of you behind your back.
- God will support you with destiny helpers that frustrate all your destiny killers and persecutors.
- God will raise you to become destiny helpers to all and sundry.
PRAYER
O LORD, MAKE ME A DESTINY HELPER TO OTHERS AND RAISE DESTINY HELPERS FOR ME ON ALL FRONTS AND BY ALL MEANS IN JESUS' NAME.
